THE RUBBER INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS

A fully automatic rubber injection molding machine is highly efficient for producing various rubber products. Injection molding is also called injection model or injection molding. First, the temperature of the rubber material is raised to the state with the best fluidity through the heating of the plasticizing cylinder and the stirring and shearing of the plasticizing screw. Then, through a higher injection pressure, the rubber material in this state is injected into the clamped (vacuumed) mold cavity, pressurized, and heated to vulcanize the rubber. In the process, the three elements of time, pressure, and temperature determine the efficiency and quality of production.

Rubber injection molding includes preheating raw materials, automatic injection, injection into molds, pressurization molding, vulcanization, and cooling.

  1. Preheating: manually put the rubber raw materials into the feeding system and preheat the equipment.
  2. Softening and heating: control the screw temperature and heat the raw materials to a temperature suitable for softening.
  3. Automatic feeding: gradually melt the raw materials and mix them evenly to form molten rubber with good fluidity.
  4. Film closing and vacuuming: after starting the device, close the film according to the set temperature and choose whether to vacuum.
  5. Automatic injection: after the mold temperature reaches the standard, the system automatically weighs and injects the rubber raw materials into the preheated cold runner plate.
  6. Injection into the mold: the rubber raw materials completely fill the mold cavity and eliminate bubbles.
  7. Vulcanization and pressure molding: set the vulcanization time to exhaust, ranging from 160 to 400 seconds.
  8. Mold opening: after the vulcanization is completed, the machine automatically opens the mold and demolds.
  9. Burr treatment: after the rubber product has cooled naturally, it can be manually trimmed and cleaned directly.
  10. Automatic mold closing and entering the next cycle.
